FIR on Priyanka Gandhi’s silent dharna
On the other hand, UP Police has registered an FIR regarding Priyanka Gandhi’s silent dharna in Lucknow on Friday. The Hazratganj Police has registered an FIR for dharna without information and permission. An FIR has been registered against 500 Congress workers including Congress State President Ajay Kumar Lallu, Vedprakash Tripathi, Dilpreet Singh at Hazratganj police station for violation of Kovid protocol. Sections of the Pandemic Act have been imposed against them for violation of section 144, damage to public property.

Priyanka Gandhi has not been made an accused in the FIR. Congress leaders staged a silent dharna on the Gandhi statue of Hazratganj on Friday evening.
