Sidhu Moosewala murder case: Twelve officers of Delhi Police`s Special Cell allotted Y-category protection

The security of ACP Lalit Negi, ACP Hriday Bhushan, ACP Ved Prakash, ACP Rahul Vikram, Inspector Ravindra Joshi, Inspector Sunil Kumar, Inspector Vikram Dahiya, Inspector Nishant Dahiya, Inspector Vinod Kumar etc. has been increased.

The security of other policemen deployed in solving the murder case that took place on May 29 has also been increased. According to reports, a commando will be present with him at all times. According to reports, the move comes after Lakhbir Landa, an aide of Punjab-based gangster Harvinder Rinda, threatened officers of Delhi Police’s Special Cell on social media. The gangster claimed to have photographs of all those officers of the Special Cell who were involved in solving the case and said that it would not be good to see the officers on the streets. Landa also warned that no officer of the Special Cell should enter Punjab.

Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Musewala, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district in Punjab on May 29 this year. The incident took place two days after the Punjab Police withdrew the security cover of 424 people, including Moosewala. Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar had allegedly claimed responsibility for the Punjabi singer’s murder in a Facebook post.
