Priyanshu Painyuli, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Kubbra Sait star in the series. The series will be supported by an ensemble cast that includes Manu Rishi Chadha, Shruthy Menon, Kashyap Shangari, Chandan Roy, Manjiri Pupala, Shruti Jolly, Gyan Prakash, and Abhilash Thapliyal. The official social media handle of Prime Video unveiled the intriguing trailer for the noir crime drama series Shehar Lokhat on Friday. The trailer immerses viewers in a world of treachery and deception. As the prodigal son is compelled to return to his city, Lakhot, he is forced to confront his past. He accidentally becomes entangled in a deadly game, even as the city itself becomes a hazardous fight for vested interests, each with a hidden objective. The trailer promises that Shekhar Lakhot will be an entertaining ride for the audience. The film is an Offroad Films production, with Navdeep Singh and Khalil Bachooali as executive producers. The series is directed and written by Navdeep Singh as well as created by him along with Devika Bhagat.

Navdeep Singh is known for some exemplary work like Manorama Six Feet Under and NH10. He said, “Shehar Lakhot is a multilayered and nuanced noir crime drama that will take viewers through a labyrinth of human complexities, secrets, twists and betrayal,” as quoted by India Today.
