Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer Selfie will hit the theaters on February 24, 2023.

trailer of Akshay Kumar And Emraan Hashmi’s selfie has been released. On Sunday, Akshay shared the trailer on his Instagram handle. He wrote, “The villain of this story is not known but the hero is #Selfie!”
The trailer begins with the introduction of Akshay as Vijay who is not a ‘normal star’ but a ‘superstar’. It is then revealed that Akshay is an actor who does ‘four films, 2 OTT films, 28 commercials, 17 shows and a few reality shows’ in a year. The trailer shows Emraan as a middle-class cop and father of a young boy who is a big fan of Vijay. The father then resolves to do whatever it takes to fulfill his and his son’s dream of taking a selfie with Vijay. However, the tables turn when Akshay attacks Emraan and accuses him of forcibly calling the actor to the office to take a selfie, not for a driving test. The ‘fan’ Imran then decides to fight back.
Soon after the trailer was released, several netizens reacted to it and expressed their enthusiasm for the film. One of the fans wrote, “Akshay Kumar is not just a history breaker, he is also a history maker.”
The trailer was launched on Sunday at a grand event in Mumbai which was attended by not only Akshay and Emraan but also their co-stars Nushrat Bharucha and Diana Penty. For the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar wore an all-pink outfit while Emraan looked dapper as ever in a blue T-shirt and black leather jacket.
Directed by Raj Mehta, Selfie is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta and Listin Stephen. It will hit the theaters on 24 February 2023.
