On 19 January, Scoot apologized for the inconvenience caused to passengers and said it was working to provide necessary assistance to affected customers.

“Due to inclement weather conditions affecting departure, the flight was rescheduled to depart Amritsar at 3.45 PM instead of the original departure time of 7.55 PM. Affected passengers will be informed about the departure via email and/or SMS The timing changes were informed well in advance, where possible based on the contact details provided,” it said in a statement.
