RSS Chief, Shri Mohan Bhagwat ready to watch Akshay KumarSamrat Prithviraj’s film at a special screening in New Delhi on June 3. He will be joined by the cast of the film including Akshay and Manushi Chhillar and director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Yash Raj Films’ first historical, Samrat is based on the life and valor of Prithviraj, the fearless and mighty emperor. Akshay plays the great warrior who fought valiantly to defend India’s independence from the ruthless invader Muhammad of Ghor in this visual spectacle. The courage and leadership of Emperor Prithviraj has inspired generations through folklore.
Talking about the film, Akshay said, “Samrat Prithviraj is our humble attempt to tell Indians across the world about a true warrior who sacrificed his life for the freedom of India, standing against ruthless invaders. It is our honor that Shri Mohan Bhagwat ji will be watching this authentic historical spectacle. The film is our attempt to honor a proud king who decided not to give even an inch of Bharatmata’s land to the invaders who attacked us. Desh Ke Nahi Hai. Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi said, “The life of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan is an example for every Indian. When the invaders came to attack our motherland, they stood up and countered them. Our country is in a state of constant attack by the forces and youth, known and unknown. The country should understand this and focus on the task at hand. Manushi Chhillar will be essaying the role of King Prithviraj’s beloved Sanyogita in this much-awaited historical and her launch is surely one of the most awaited debuts of 2022. The film has been released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
