New Delhi: Thalapatti Vijay – Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Varisu’ is receiving love from across the country. The film directed by Vamshi Paidipally has collected Rs 210 crore in its first week worldwide and is touted as ‘Unstoppable’ at the box office. Rashmika’s performance in the songs ‘Ranjitham’ and ‘Jimikki Ponnu’ have topped the music charts, making for back-to-back headlines for the film.
Talking about the success of the film, Rashmika says, “It really warms my heart and makes me feel very grateful to see the overwhelming love and appreciation showering on ‘Waarisu’!
He said, “The story and its plot is such that the moment I heard it, I was sure that it would definitely connect with the family audience, which was an instant yes for me. And the icing on the cake is working with Vijay sir , which was like a dream come true.
Rashmika is looking at a blockbuster 2023 with four films lined up for release, one of them being ‘Warisu’, which has released in all languages. She will also be seen in ‘Mission Majnu’, ‘Animal’ and another which is currently under wraps.
Since the beginning of her career, Rashmika has received immense love from the audience for her characters like ‘Saanvi’, ‘Geeta’, and most recently ‘Srivalli’ from ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. She will be next seen in ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ and ‘Animal’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
