New Delhi: Actors Ranveer Singh and Hardy Sandhu bonded really well while working in the film ’83’.
Taking to Instagram, Hardy penned a heartfelt post for his co-star.
“For me my captain @RanveerSingh aka Kapal. Bhaji what a person you are and how has been the journey of 83. You have led from the front whether we talk about on-screen or off-screen. I told you about it. Learned a lot,” she wrote.
Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83’ revolves around India’s historic 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. In the film, Ranveer and Hardy play the roles of Kapil Dev and Madan Lal, the captains of the Indian cricket team, respectively.
Recalling working with Ranveer, Hardy shared that the former’s hard work has inspired him a lot.
“I’ve thrown a lot of questions about acting and whenever I was confused because it was my first film. You answered them and helped me become a better actor and a better person. I always appreciate your hard work, dedication. And discipline.
After reading Hardy’s post, Ranveer praised him saying that he is a “special soul”.
“My beautiful brother! You are a special soul! Blessed! You keep shining bright! Love and only love,” commented Ranveer.
’83’, which released on Friday, also stars Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Saqib Saleem and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
