After Kajol, Rani Mukerji was spotted at a Durga Puja pandal, celebrating the festival with full fervour.

Durga Puja festivities have kickstarted in full swing and Bollywood is all set for the celebrations. Durga Puja has now become a global event following its inclusion in Unesco’s intangible cultural heritage list in 2021. The fervor and excitement can even be seen among celebrities as they are thronging to the Puja pandals to take part in the festivities. Apart from Kajol, Rani Mukerji was also spotted arriving at a Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai.

On Saturday, popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani shared a clip on Instagram, that captured Rani Mukerji making a video of the magnificent Goddess Durga idol. She wore a traditional light yellow Bengali saree with golden borders. Further in the video, Rani can also be seen greeting some acquaintances in the massive pandal.

During the event, the trio addressed the enthusiastic crowd.

During their fan interaction, Rani Mukerji spoke greatly of Shah Rukh Khan and called him ‘romance’. In a viral video, she can be seen saying, “Shah Rukh for me is romance itself, he’s love and I have loved Shah Rukh from the time I saw him the first time because he’s the most gracious man ever descended on planet.” The actress also lauded Karan Johar for his work in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Rani Mukerji was most recently seen in Ashima Chibber’s legal drama film Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway. The film, which also stars Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta, and Jim Sarbh, is based on the true incident of an Indian couple whose children were forcefully taken away by Norwegian authorities in 2011. The film was loved by critics and audiences alike.
