Mysore: Bahurupi, the national theater festival is organized by? coloration, began at the Kalamandir Cultural Complex on Saturday. This was elusive because of the pandemic in recent years.

There are 83 stalls like food stalls, book exhibition stalls, kiosks giving information to the public about pottery, cottage industries and weaving.
During the nine-day festival, 37 plays in Kannada, Hindi, Konkani, Tulu, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Rajasthani and English will be staged at the Rangayana campus, and they will be in line with this year’s festival. Theme “Motherhood. Out of 37 plays, 20 are from Kannada.
There is also a film festival in the Thare Festival, which will screen award-winning films on Earth. A national seminar, book exhibition and handicrafts exhibition have also been organized.
Folk dances like Jogti dance, Kamsale, Pooja Kunitha, Chandmela, Jade Kolta, Mallakambha, Gorwara Kunitha, Veergasse, Dolu Kunitha, Gombe Garudiga, Gombayata, Siddhi Kunitha And suggi kunitha Will be done in the evening.
A large number of people from across the city thronged the Rangayana campus to enjoy the programs which will continue till March 20.
