Jaipur: For the first time after December 27, the state recorded the lowest 90 in a day. has registered an increase of covid Cases and daily infections fell below the 100 mark for the first time in 74 days.
On December 27 and December 28, the state had registered 59 and 97 Covid cases respectively.
As COVID cases continue to decline over the past few days, 11 districts, one third of the total districts in the state, have not reported a single COVID infection in the last 24 hours. Apart from this, one case each was reported in 10 districts, two cases each in three districts and three cases each in three districts.
Jaipur recorded the highest number of 33 daily Covid cases, followed by Nagori (9), Jodhpur (7), Hanumangarh and Sikar (6 cases each) and Udaipur Four Kovid cases were registered in 24 hours.
Districts which registered zero covid cases in 24 hours are Baran, Bundi, Dausa, Dungarpur, Jaisalmer, Jhunjhunu, Kota, shiftPratapgarh, Rajsamand and Tonk.
One person died due to Kovid on Saturday, thus taking the state’s Covid toll to 9,549, while the total number of cases rose to 12,82,156. The death was reported in Bikaner, its 585th death since March 2020.
