Rajasthan: Offices, religious places and marriage halls to reopen from Monday – see guidelines

Jaipur: In view of the significant drop in the number of daily COVID cases in the state, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced further easing of the lockdown restrictions in the state. The new guidelines issued on Sunday will come into effect from 5 am on Monday, June 28.

As per the revised COVID lockdown guidelines, all shops, clubs, gyms, restaurants, malls and other business establishments are required to ensure vaccination of their employees.

The state government has extended the operating hours of markets and malls. The movement of public transport and private vehicles has also been given the green signal with certain conditions. Apart from this, marriage ceremonies and religious places have also been allowed in the state with COVID appropriate treatment.

The guidelines state that the night curfew will be effective from 8 pm to 5 am on weekdays and on weekends it will start at 8 pm on Saturday and end at 5 am on Monday.

Here is the list of what is open, what is closed –

  • Full staffing is allowed in all government offices where the number of personnel is less than 25
  • In offices where the number of personnel is 25 or more than 25, 50 percent personnel are allowed.
  • In offices where 60 percent of personnel received the first dose of vaccine, 100 percent of personnel are allowed
  • Offices can function from 9.30 am to 6 am.
  • Travel by private vehicles will be allowed from 5 am to 8 pm on all days except Sundays.
  • The public parks will be open to the public from 5 am to 8 am.
  • Restaurants are allowed to operate dine-in facility from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays.
  • It is mandatory for all shops, clubs, gyms, restaurants, malls and other business establishments to ensure vaccination of their employees.
  • Ensure screening facility and masks for gym, restaurant customers
  • Citizens are allowed to hold marriage ceremonies in gardens, marriage halls and hotels with a maximum of 40 people till 4 pm.
  • Outdoor activities allowed in clubs. However, clubs where COVID vaccination has been done will be allowed to open indoor sporting activities.
