New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday deferred the question of being the party’s chief ministerial candidate for next year’s elections in Uttar Pradesh.
When asked whether she would contest elections in future, Priyanka “We will see,” he told reporters in Lakhimpur Kheri.
On the question of the existence of Congress From. m The face for the UP election, she quipped, “May I tell you everything now…”
On what will be the strategy of her party, Priyanka said that wherever there is problem or pain, she will go and stand with the people.
“In the last one-and-a-half years, our party has raised the strongest voice. We have come out on the streets, our party workers have made arrests. Rest of the parties have not said much nor have they come out (on the streets). us, and we will continue to do so,” she said.
Priyanka Gandhi’s visit to the state comes as the party prepares for assembly elections early next year.
He faces an uphill task of cementing the party in a strong position in the politically crucial state, where the Congress was marginalized in the 2017 elections.
