Punjab Congress is stuck on making Sikh massacre accused Jagdish Tytler a permanent member of Delhi Congress. On one hand the opponents are besieging the Congress, while their own leaders are raising questions. CM Charanjit Channi and Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu have kept silence on the whole matter. The case against Jagdish Tytler is going on in the CBI court.

In such a situation, in the coming Punjab elections, it can become a snarl of the Congress’s neck. Congress leaders internally are also unhappy with such controversy just before the elections. Sikh massacres have always been the weakness of the Congress in Punjab. Controversy started a few days ago regarding Jagdish Tytler. Then it came to know that Tytler has been made permanent member i.e. permanent invitee by Delhi Congress.

BJP’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya first targeted about this. He asked if Punjab was listening to it. However, the Congress had clarified that being a former MP, Tytler was already a permanent member. There is nothing new in this.

After this Akali leader Manjinder Sirsa opened the front. He directly questioned the Gandhi family on the pretext of Tytler. He said that the case is going to be heard, due to which the Gandhi family is scared. He is sending a message to Tytler that we are with him. After this, Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Badal and spokesperson Dr. Daljit Cheema also raised questions on this and demanded clarification from CM Channi.

Sunil Jakhar surrounded Soni and CM Channi
Former Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar surrounded Ambika Soni and CM Charanjit Channi. He taunted that feedback must have been taken from Ambika Soni and CM about this. He termed it as a sensitive matter for Punjab. On this pretext, Jakhar also surrounded Ambika Soni, who put a hindrance in his way by making a statement to make the Sikh face the CM in Punjab.

Sirsa had asked Sidhu – is this not a compromise?
In Jagdish Tytler’s case, Akali leader Manjinder Sirsa had directly surrounded Sidhu. He tweeted Sidhu’s resignation and asked if this is not a compromise. Sidhu had resigned from the post of Punjab Congress chief a few days ago, saying that he would not compromise on the issues of Punjab. Which Sirsa took on target.
