Promote Technical, Medical and Law Education in Mother Tongue for Better Understanding: Shah to States

Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah has asserted that states should promote education in Hindi or regional languages in the fields of technology, medicine and law so that the country can harness the talent of non-English speaking students.

Underlining the importance of education in Hindi and regional languages, Shah said that students can easily develop an original thought process by studying in their mother tongue and this promotes research and innovation.

“Technical, medical and law – all should be taught in Hindi and regional languages. All state governments should take initiative to translate the syllabus of these three areas of education into regional languages.

Suggesting that education in mother tongue is easier and faster, Shah said, “It will boost the country’s talent in higher education. Today we can use only five percent of the country’s talent, but with this initiative, we will be able to use 100 percent of the country’s talent. He said that this five percent comes from an English background, while also adding that he has nothing against English as a language.

Shah said, “It is that a student’s ‘original thinking’ (original thinking) can be easily developed in his mother tongue and there is a strong link between original thinking and research.”

Talking about his observations on history education, Shah said that he has appealed to the students to study the heroes of 300 (Jananayaka) people who were not studied by historians and thirty such kingdoms that ruled India. had ruled India And established a very good model of governance. Shah said it is time that people and students study the “real history” of the country.

“How long shall we rant about what others have written about our history and the distortions in it. The students of our country should research our real history,” he said.

The BJP-led governments at the Center and in the states have been organizing programs on various historical icons and their contribution to the freedom struggle and development of the country.

The party sees this as part of their ideological exercise to remember the contributions of indigenous personalities, including many who were allegedly not given due credit.
