Adipurush is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of 2023. The latest soundtrack of the film, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, Ram Sita Ram has garnered a lot of appreciation from the masses. In fact, after revising the VFX and graphics, the new trailer of the film has also received a positive response except for a few critics. Now, a report in Bollywood Hungama has revealed that ahead of its release, Adipurush has already collected Rs 432 crore from non-theatrical business.
As per reports, Adipurush, made on a massive budget of Rs 500 crore, has recovered almost 85 per cent of the money spent. Reports have clarified that the Om Raut directorial earned Rs 247 crore from non-theatrical revenue, which includes music rights, satellite rights, digital rights and ancillary rights. Meanwhile, the film received the remaining Rs 185 crore from its theatrical revenue in southern regions as a minimum guarantee. Thus the total becomes Rs 432 crore.
Early trade estimates suggest that Adipurush is likely to have a blockbuster opening at the theatres. The predictions also indicate that in the first three days of the film’s release, the Prabhas-starrer may also enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club, that too entirely in the Hindi language. However, these are just speculations and nothing is confirmed yet.
With the buzz of Adipurush refusing to die, the makers have come up with another lovely surprise for the fans. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the film’s team is all set to unveil another action-packed trailer of the film on June 6 at a grand event in Tirupati.
“The Adipurush team will launch the action-packed 2 minutes 27 seconds trailer at a mega event in Tirupati on 6th June in the presence of fans and media. While the first trailer was about the emotions of Shri Ram, the second one will dive into the world of massive action that the film has to offer. The trailer will focus on the epic battle between Lord Rama and his nemesis, Ravana,” revealed the report.
Adipurush, produced by Bhushan Kumar, will retell the story of the epic mythological love story between Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Apart from Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, playing the antagonist along with Sunny Singh, Devdutt Nag and Vatsal Seth in pivotal roles. Adipurush is all set to hit the big screens on 16th June.
