He tried to start a business here and put all his earnings into it. But he failed in that venture and returned to India. At this time actor Chiranjeevi helped Saigal by selecting him as a singer for his film Rikshavodu. Baba Sehgal lent his voice to the song Roop Tera Mastana along with another singer Sujatha. He again gained popularity among the audience with this song and started acting in other South Indian films as well.

Baba Sehgal recently sang and wrote the lyrics for the theme song of the film Phone Bhoot, composed by Mickey McClary. This song was a hit and its official video has got 44,67,699 views so far. Check out the video here:

Baba Sehgal is also composing songs as an independent artist and his latest track is Life Teri Set Hai Bhai Hai. Followers loved the lyrics of the song and many commented that he is the “original rapper of India”.
