Actors Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming pan-India film began with ‘Muhurta’ puja and clapping here on Saturday. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film has been given the working title of the project so far.
On Saturday, on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Amitabh reached Hyderabad due to the Muhurta of the film. For the Muhurat shot, Prabhas played the clapboard on Amitabh Bachchan, parts of which will be shot in the first schedule.
Big B took to Twitter to share a picture from KK Muhurta. He wrote, “T 3976 – .. for the muhurta shot of #ProjectK .. what an honor behind the clap being given by the icon making cinematic magical Baahubali with #actorprabhas making waves across the nation and the world.”
According to the production team of the film, Nag Ashwin will be shooting for some crucial sequences with Amitabh and a few other actors in the first shooting schedule, which will start from Saturday at Ramoji Film City here. However, Prabhas will join the team later.
Prabhas had also posted a picture of the clapboard on his social media account and captioned it: “On this #GuruPurnima, it’s an honor to clap for the guru of Indian cinema! It starts now!! #ProjectK Amitabh Bachchan Deepika Padukone #Nag Ashwin Vyjayanthi Movies.”
Taking to Instagram, Deepika wrote, “It’s the first day in Project-K and I’m absolutely thrilled with what’s coming next…”
The film is produced by Ashwini Dutt, the producer and founder of Vyjayanthi Movies. Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt are co-producers of Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema.
