Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) has announced that electricity will be cut off in parts of Chennai today to carry out maintenance work in the city.
Electricity will remain shut in parts of Chennai from 9 am to 2 pm, and supply is expected to resume before 2 pm when the work is completed.
According to a press release given by the company, the following neighborhoods in Chennai will be affected:
Tambaram:
- Radha Nagar: Naidu Shop Road, Radha Nagar Main Road, Venkateswara Street and Thandapani Street
- Seethalpakkam: TNHB Colony, Viziapuram and Mambakkam Main Road
- Cuddaperry: Chitlapakkam 2 and 3 Main Road, Natarajan Street, Ayyappa Street, SBI Colony and surrounding areas
