Ever since Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah stars Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat, who are known for their roles of popular characters Babita and Tappu respectively, were rumored to be dating each other, a meme fest of sorts started on the internet. The actors were trolled extensively on social media platforms. Now, in an Instagram post, the two broke their silence on the matter in a strong Instagram post.

On Sunday, Raj took to his social media account to call out those trolling him. “Everyone who is constantly writing about me, think about the consequences that your ‘cooked UP’ (false) stories can have in my life and that too without my consent. All Creative people please channelize. Your creativity will be elsewhere, it will be helpful for you. God give them good understanding.”

On the other hand, Munmun had shared two different notes slamming the trollers and the media fraternity.

In one for the general public, she wrote: “For the general public, I had much better expectations from you. But the filth you have showered in the comments section, even the so-called ‘literates’ prove it.” It happens that we are a society.”

“Women are constantly age-shamed, slut shamed, mom shamed at the expense of your humor.
