Kanhaiyalal, who posted on social media in support of Nupur Sharma, was murdered 10 days ago in Udaipur, Rajasthan. On Tuesday, two attackers entered his shop in broad daylight and slit his throat with a sword. The killers also made a video of it.

Politics has heated up across the country regarding the murder. AIMIM chief Owaisi on Wednesday said that Nupur Sharma’s suspension from BJP is not enough, she should be arrested. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi said that vandalism in the name of religion cannot be tolerated.

Owaisi said – no one has the right to take law in his hands

Asaduddin Owaisi condemned the murder and demanded strict action by the Rajasthan government. Owaisi said – The brutal murder in Udaipur is condemnable. No one can justify such a murder.

The Muslim stand of our party is that no one has the right to take the law into their own hands. We demand from our government that they should take strictest action against the culprits. Owaisi said that if the police had been more alert, such an incident would not have happened. Bigotry is spreading. Nupur Sharma should be arrested, mere suspension from the party is not enough.

Rahul said – vandalism cannot be tolerated in the name of religion
Rahul Gandhi tweeted and said- I am deeply shocked by the heinous murder in Udaipur. Brutalism in the name of religion cannot be tolerated. Those who spread terror with such cruelty should be punished immediately.

No one has the right to take the law into his own hands. Jamiat has appealed to all the citizens of the country to maintain peace.

Vivek Agnihotri expressed displeasure
The director of The Kashmir Files, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, expressed his displeasure over the incident. It is becoming impossible to become a true Hindu and survive in the Hindu-space, he said. For this either become an urban naxal or go anonymous or be killed.
