New Delhi: After making its global debut, the Poco X5 will soon launch in India. The company’s country manager Himanshu Tandon announced the release of the new 5G phone on Twitter. But the exact launch date is still a mystery. Poco X5 is rumored to launch in India next week. It is important to note that the device is already available in the market in other countries and will be arriving in India soon.

It is speculated that the upcoming phone will be a scaled-back version of the recently released Poco X5 Pro. As a result, it will likely be released at a much lower price than the Pro variant, which is priced at Rs 22,999.
Poco X5 Expected Features/Specifications
As the Poco X5 is already in the market in several countries, we are aware of its potential features. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display for the Indian variant is speculated to have FHD+ pixel resolution. The screen could offer an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer shields the panel.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which we have seen in devices like the iQOO Z6, is found inside. The latter was introduced in India with a starting price of Rs 13,999. Considering that the previously released Poco X5 Pro was made available in the sub-Rs 25,000 price range, the Poco X5 is expected to be priced under the Rs 20,000 category.
The 5G phone with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage space is expected from the company. Thanks to Poco, the internal storage can be expanded using a microSD card.
A 5,000mAh battery is standard on the worldwide variant of the Poco X5 and the manufacturer has included a 33W fast charger in the retail package. Furthermore, the Poco X5 features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is splash-resistant to IP53 standards.
The triple back camera configuration of the smartphone includes a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is a 13 megapixel camera in the front for selfie.
