In a video shared by news agency ANI, PM Modi can be seen performing puja at his mother’s residence. Later, he sat down at the feet of his mother and talked to her. She also shared pictures from her journey on her official Twitter handle and wrote, “Took my mother’s blessings today as she enters her 100th year.”

PM Modi is very close to his mother and often visits her at important events.
A few weeks ago, a huge crowd gathered on the road leading to Shimla’s Ridge Maidan to catch a glimpse of PM Modi. Among the crowd, a girl named Anu was holding a painting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi. On seeing the artwork, the Prime Minister stopped his convoy, got down from his car and approached the girl. “What’s your name? Where do you live? How many days did it take you to make this painting?” PM Modi asked the girl. Anu replied that she was from Shimla and had painted Heeraben in a day.
PM Modi is in Gandhinagar today to hoist the flag at the newly constructed Pavagadh temple in Gujarat. A press release by the Gujarat Information Department said, “After the ascent of Pavagadh in the fifteenth century, the spire of the temple had been dilapidated for the past five centuries. The shikhara has now been redesigned with a new look. ”
