The price of petrol is also very close to hitting a century in Delhi and Kolkata.

Petrol prices across the country were also hiked on Friday but retail prices varied depending on the level of local taxes in different states.

Sriganganagar, Rajasthan has the highest level of fuel prices in the country. There the price of petrol is Rs 110.40 per liter while the price of diesel is Rs 102.42 per liter on Friday.

With the hike in day prices, fuel prices have now increased for 33 days and have remained unchanged for 30 days from May 1. The hike of 33 has raised petrol prices in Delhi by Rs 8.77 per litre. Similarly, diesel has increased by Rs 8.45 per liter in the national capital.
