Palghar: A 40-year-old man was allegedly murdered by unidentified persons and dumped the body in the forest. Maharashtraof Palghar District, police said on Monday.
Prey, Gulab Lakhan, resident of Jawahar The taluka here had gone missing on Saturday following which his family members started a search for him.
he was found dead in a forest pimplesheth area on Sunday, Jawahar police station official said.
He said the body has been sent for postmortem and a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against unidentified persons.
He said that the motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.
