Dharwad: Educational institutions should provide value based education to help in overall development of the student, said the former Public Works Department Secretary GC Tallur.

He lamented that many eminent personalities including Mahatma Gandhi always advocated the incorporation of moral values ​​in education, but his suggestions were not fully implemented.
Tallur said that teaching ethics and spirituality will help in the holistic development of the personality of the student. Karnataka University Vice Chancellor KB Gudasi said National Education Policy 2020 There has to be a drastic change in the education system. He said that here the student has been given the freedom to choose the subject of his interest and focus more on research and development.
