Opposition: Yogi holds anti-CAA protest in Moradabad, accuses opposition of trying to burn UP India News – Times of India

Bareilly: Raising the issue of violent demonstrations against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) Moradabad Regions, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 2019 Yogi Adityanath, who was at the brassware hub on Tuesday, alleged against Parties to provoke the masses and try to set the state on fire.

Adityanath also shared a tweet from his official Twitter handle after his speech in Moradabad: “Remember, you have to pay if you burn the property of innocent traders in UP, which will be remembered by your future generations.”
Moradabad, along with its neighboring Sambhal and Rampur districts, has witnessed communal riots on several occasions, including anti-CAA protests. In Sambhal, a roadways bus was set ablaze and several private and government vehicles vandalized. The police had registered over 200 cases for the violence.
Similar violence also took place from Rampur district where mobs attacked policemen and curfew was imposed in sensitive areas. Notices were issued to 26 protesters in Sambhal and 28 in Rampur for damages to public and private property.
CM assured the people that BJP will always provide better law and order. “Every mother and sister will be protected and respected.”
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister inaugurated two oxygen plants in Moradabad, after which he said that each BJP MLA from the state has completed development works worth over Rs 1,500 crore during his current tenure. “In comparison, MLAs of opposition parties have nothing to do with the development of the state. For them, their self-development and their development Saifai family is everything.”
Adityanath also laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 275 crore in Sambhal, where entry of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh leaders was restricted by the police and district administration. He also laid the foundation stone of some projects in Bijnor.
