Only fully immunized people will be allowed in malls, theaters in Haryana from Jan 1: Anil Vijo

Chandigarh: State Health and Home Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said that eligible people will not be allowed to fully vaccinate inside crowded places like malls, cinema halls and restaurants in Haryana from January 1.

Vij made the announcement in reply to a question on calling attention motion in the ongoing winter session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly here.

He said that this decision has been taken because the vaccine is the biggest protection against Kovid including its various forms.

Vij said, “With effect from January 1, 2022, any eligible person who has not received both doses of the Kovid vaccine, shall not be allowed to go to malls, hotels, restaurants, marriage palaces, cinema halls, offices, banks or any such place. Will be given where the crowd gathers. Here in the Haryana Legislative Assembly.

He said that wearing of masks in public places will be strictly enforced in the state and he has directed the district superintendents of police and other concerned officers to impose fine on those who do not wear masks.
