oneplus has finally revealed its latest smartphone OnePlus 9RT, which is a follow-up to the 9R model launched by the company last year. While the new smartphone is not completely new or different from its predecessor, it does get some major upgrades.
OnePlus 9RT Display
The new OnePlus smartphone flaunts a 6.6-inch FHD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The display offers up to 1300 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. The company has also revealed that the display of the smartphone comes with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and has a touch sampling rate of 1300Hz.
OnePlus 9RT Chipset
Unlike the OnePlus 9R, which is powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, the new OnePlus 9RT is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset. The smartphone with 5nm chipset will be available in three variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage and 12GB + 256GB internal storage variant.

When it comes to cameras, the new OnePlus 9RT smartphone gets updates from its predecessor here as well. The new device gets a more impressive 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with f/1.88 aperture and OIS. The primary lens is paired with a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Dual-LED flash is also available in the camera setup. The triple camera setup is said to offer hybrid focus and 4K video recording.
In terms of selfie camera, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 camera with an f/2.4 lens. Electronic image stabilization is also available in the front camera.

On the battery front, the device packs a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W fast charging.
The smartphone is currently available only in China and there is no word on global availability yet. It is likely that the company will soon launch the devices in the Indian market.
