A CCTV video of the unidentified shooters reportedly fleeing on a motorcycle after firing shots outside Salman Khan’s house, has surfaced

Gunshots were fired outside actor Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai in the early hours of Sunday at around 4:55 am. A CCTV video of the unidentified shooters reportedly fleeing on a motorcycle following the shooting has surfaced.

As per initial reports by CNN-News18, two individuals came on a motorcycle and fired three shots in the air outside the actor’s house.

“Today at around 5 am, two unidentified people opened fire outside the house of actor Salman Khan in Bandra. Police have received information about 3 rounds of firing. Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch has reached the spot for investigation,” Mumbai police was quoted by ANI as saying.

Heavy police force was deployed outside the actor’s residence, Galaxy Apartments following the incident. Mumbai Police are examining CCTV footage to nab the culprits. The incident has been reported at the Bandra Police Station and the process of filing an FIR is underway.

“The security has been beefed up outside the actor’s residence at Galaxy apartments, and a forensic team is also present at the spot. We are checking the CCTV footage from the area and the surrounding locality to identify the accused,” the police added.

It is being reported that the Mumbai Police Crime Branch will take over the case. Investigations are underway to determine those involved in the incident.

Last year, Salman Khan received a death threat from Canada-based fugitive gangster Goldy Brar, who openly declared that the Bollywood superstar was on his gang’s hit list.

Earlier in the year, Mumbai Police had filed an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, along with another individual, following an email threatening Salman Khan at his Mumbai residence.

The Bollywood superstar was granted Y+ security after he reportedly received a death threat from the Bishnoi Gang.
