According to WHO, there has been an increase of 30 percent in the case of corona in the world in the last two weeks.

17 percent increase in new cases in last 24 hours
There has been a slight jump in the cases of corona in the country for the last few days. In the last 24 hours, 18,930 new cases were found in the country, 14,798 patients were cured. While 35 infected died. After the latest figures, the active cases have gone up to 117,893. There was an increase of 17 percent in new cases on Wednesday as compared to Tuesday. On Tuesday, 16,159 new cases were found.

Kerala tops in new case
In Wednesday’s figures, Kerala has the highest number of cases in the country. In one day, 1510 new cases were registered. On Wednesday, 4113 new infected were found in Kerala. There has been a 58% jump in the number of infected people compared to Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, 3080 people died of corona infection. With this, the total death toll in Kerala has crossed 70 thousand.

Highest new cases in five states of the country
There are 5 states in the country from where the maximum number of cases are coming. These include Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Karnataka. In Maharashtra, there has been an 18% increase in the number of newly infected people compared to the previous day. Maharashtra leads the death toll due to corona infection. In the last 24 hours, 7 people lost their lives in Maharashtra due to the epidemic. On Wednesday, 7 infected people died in the state. Since the initial phase of Corona till now, more than 1 lakh 47 thousand patients have died in Maharashtra.
