Odisha: Subhash Singh of BJD richest among mayoral candidates in Cuttack. Bhubaneswar News – Times of India

Cuttack : Subhash Singh, BJD nominee for mayor Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), is the richest of the three major contesting candidates.
In his affidavit, Subhash has disclosed that he has assets worth about Rs 2 crore. He has fixed deposits of Rs 76,76,689 in banks, insurance, gold jewellery, mutual funds and investment bonds, while that of his wife is worth Rs 45,85,045. His immovable assets are Rs 77,19,096. He has a bank loan of about Rs 5,96,476. Subhash (62) was elected to the Rajya Sabha on 24 March.
Congress candidate and three-time corporator, Giribala Behera has assets worth around Rs 1.9 crore. According to her affidavit, she has cash and bank deposits (of her and husband), insurance, fixed deposits and mutual funds worth Rs 20,92,031. She has immovable assets worth Rs 75,00,000 and her husband has assets worth Rs 95,00,000. He has no dues and debts. The 59-year-old Giribala has done her Masters in Humanities from Renshaw College.
BJP candidate actor Shritam Das has declared assets worth Rs 1 crore. The 48-year-old has bank deposits, insurance, gold ornaments and fixed deposits of Rs 33,66,785. His wife has bank deposits, insurance and investments of Rs 13,68,784. He has also announced bank deposits of Rs 6,54,987 and investment of one dependent.
Shritam has immovable assets worth Rs 41,90,000 while his wife has immovable assets of around Rs 4,85,000. As per the announcement, Shritam has a bank loan of Rs 44,50,000.
