Daniel Craig bids emotional farewell to James Bond role

Hollywood star Daniel Craig got emotional after filming his final scene as James Bond in the upcoming 007 adventure ‘No Time to Die’, which will be his final role as Super Spy. According to Variety, “Being James Bond,” the free Apple TV documentary, covers Craig’s career from “Casino Royale”, “Quantum of Solace”, “Skyfall”, “Spectre” to his last scenes. ‘No Time to Die’, which has been postponed many times.

The documentary featured Craig’s last scene with Bond during the shooting of the final film, a fitting final shot for his 15-year career as 007. The actor gave a touching speech after wrapping up the late night shoot, and the cast and crew all shed tears and hugged each other.

“A lot of people here worked with me on five pictures, and I know a lot of things have been said about what I think of these films… It has been one of the biggest honors of my life.’

“No Time To Die” will have its world premiere on September 28 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. It will be released in the UK and Ireland from 30 September through Universal Pictures International and in the US on 8 October through MGM through its United Artists Releasing banner.

According to Variety, in the film, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a quiet life in Jamaica. Their peace is short-lived when their old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA asks for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be more treacherous than expected, forcing Bond to follow a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Directed by Carey Joji Fukunaga, the film stars Craig, Rami Malek, Lee Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomi Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes. The producers are Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
