The fantasy film, starring actors Nivin Pauly, Asif Ali, Laal and Shaanvi Srivastava, Mahaveer is all set to hit the theaters next month on July 21. The release date of the film through its official Instagram handle. Dropping a poster of Mahaveer, Pauli wrote, “Mahaveeryaar releasing worldwide on 21st July, 2022 in cinemas near you”.
As soon as Pauli shared the poster of Mahaveer, fans expressed their excitement to watch another blockbuster film of the actor. However, many people were interested to know about the release of Thurmukham. Directed by Rajeev Ravi, the poly-starrer Thurmukham was scheduled to release in theaters on June 10. However, no update regarding its release has been shared by the makers.

Meanwhile, fans are excited to see director Abrid Shine attempt a fantasy drama for the first time. Spilling the beans about the fantasy drama, Pauly has previously stated that Mahavir will have some time travel elements as well as some court proceedings. However, the exact plot of the film is still hidden.
Earlier this year, the film’s one-and-a-half-minute teaser was also released, promising a heady mix of fantasy, historical, legal and time-travel genres.

The story is said to have been adapted from a story written by award-winning author M Mukundan. While this is the first time Shine is casting a fantasy drama, the project will mark the director’s third collaboration with Paulie.
