New Zealand vs Bangladesh, 2nd Test, Day 3, Live Coverage: As New Zealand enforced a follow-on, Bangladesh reached 74 for two at lunch on the third day in Christchurch on Tuesday. With two days and two sessions remaining, they still have 321 runs outstanding.

Bangladesh were bowled out for 126 in the final over on the second day in reply to New Zealand’s 521.

Bangladesh’s opening pair started their second innings well, adding 27 runs for the first wicket and getting out for the first time after scoring five runs in the same leg.

Shadman Islam, who started the day with a boundary off Tim Southee’s first ball, reached 21 before a leg-side delivery from Kyle Jamieson and wicketkeeper Tom Blundell took a good diving catch with one hand.

In his next over, Jamieson found the edge of Najmul Hossain Shanto’s bat but Daryl Mitchell missed the opportunity at third slip.

Shanto batted fast to reach 29 when he faced short deliveries from Neil Wagner and eventually could not resist the pull shot attempt and was caught for a boundary by Trent Boult.

Debutant Mohammad Naeem, who scored a five-ball duck in the first innings, remained unbeaten on 15 off 81 balls at lunch with Mominul Haque scoring two runs.
