Education has always been an integral part of the development of our country. To measure the development of any country, we often look at the education rate of that country, which is a known fact. It is very important to educate the youth of the country because they are the future and the success of any country lies in their hands. “They are steps that have the potential to make the country proud,” says Akash Singh Lallu, who truly believes in taking education to a higher level to become an ace and a global leader.
Many people have fully supported his views including our Honorable Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, who has discussed the importance of India’s youth power in many national and international forums. India made its first education policy in 1986 and since then we were following this education system, however in 2020, a new education policy was prepared under the leadership of the present BJP government, which included senior social workers, teachers and teachers of UP. Talking about the new education policy, Mr. Singh says that the education policies framed under the present government are aimed at the holistic development of mankind. He says that by memorizing only a few books, you cannot consider yourself to be truly educated. The real aim of education is to infuse a new energy in you through your overall development so that you can find ways which can work for the welfare of the society.
Akash further says that in the old education system, a lot of burden was placed on the children, in which bookish knowledge was given more importance. But after the introduction of this new education policy, the mental stress of the children will be reduced and attention will also be given to their skill development. During the interaction, Mr. Singh said, “As a teacher, I can understand that both physical and mental development are important for a child, and hence this policy will work wonders for the overall development of the child.”
The objective of this new education policy is to make the curriculum accessible and simple. Also the examinations will be divided from time to time, which will reduce the pressure on the children as they will get full chance and ample time to prepare themselves. “While many people are pointing fingers at the government for this new education policy, it will be immensely beneficial for the children who are the future of our country. Being a teacher, I understand this very well and I believe it will help. Children will benefit greatly, concludes Mr. Singh.
