Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan celebrate their first Mother’s Day with the twins.

It’s Nayanthara’s first Mother’s Day with her twin sons Uyir and Ulag. The actress who married Vignesh Shivan on June 9, 2022 and became a mother through surrogacy four months later. Since then, the adorable couple often share pictures from festivals and special occasions. Following that trajectory, Vignesh shared some rare pictures of Nayanthara with her kids to mark this year’s Mother’s Day.
On Sunday, Vignesh shared three pictures on his Instagram handle, in which Nayanthara is seen holding her newborn baby. While one cannot see the child’s face, his nimble fingers seem to be touching Nayanthara’s face, who has a beaming smile on her face. These pictures are believed to have been taken at the time of the birth in the hospital. He wrote the caption, “Happy first Mother’s Day to the best mother in the world.”
In a separate post, Vignesh shared fuzzy, silhouette images of Nayanthara holding her kids close to her. The caption of the post reads, ‘Dear Nayan’ you are 10 out of 10 as a mother too. Much love and strength to you my thangamey! Your first Mother’s Day. A dream come true for us. Thank you God and all the goodness of this world for blessing us with the best blessed children. #happymothersday #mothersday My Uyir and Ulag with my Uyir Ulag.”
Nayanthara also posted the same pictures on her Twitter handle but with different captions. In silhouette one, she wrote “bliss,” where she holds the newborn, captioned, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the super moms I just love!”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Nayanthara was last seen in Ashwin Saravanan’s Connect, which released in December last year. The actress is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Jawan, which is slated to release on June 12. It is speculated that fans can see Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone playing cameo roles in the film.
Apart from this, Nayanthara has also started shooting for her next film, tentatively titled Lady Superstar 75, which is directed by Nilesh Krishna. The film will also star Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Radin Kingsley, Kumari Sachu, Karthik Kumar, Renuka, Suresh Chakraborty and Poornima Ravi in lead roles.
