Musk: Elon Musk to address Twitter employees at Town Hall for the first time – Times of India

San Francisco: Elon musk will talk to Twitter Inc. Employees this week at a company-wide meeting for the first time since launching its $44 billion bid in April, a source said Monday, citing an email from Twitter’s chief executive. Parag Agarwal to staff.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, and Musk will take questions directly from Twitter employees, the source said.
The news, first reported by Business Insider, was followed last week by Twitter saying it expected a shareholder vote on the sale in early August.
A Twitter spokesperson confirmed that Musk will attend the company’s meeting this week.
Since Musk’s takeover bid, many Twitter employees have expressed concern that the billionaire’s precarious behavior could destabilize the social media company’s business, and damage it financially.
Back in April, Agarwal was seen quelling employee anger during a company-wide meeting where employees sought answers on how managers plan to handle an anticipated mass exodus inspired by Musk.
