MUMBAI: The Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) bus conductor came to the NCPA on Wednesday evening in an unclaimed bag, and alerted the police officials.
Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad reached the spot and conducted a detailed examination of the suspicious bag.
A senior BEST official said, “Carpenter’s tools were found in the bag. The bus was thoroughly checked and no bomb was found.”
The car was sent back to the depot.
BEST buses have been easy targets of terror attacks in the past.
