Mrunal Kulkarni, best remembered for her role as a fairy princess in the serial Son Pari, has joined the video streaming platform Planet Marathi OTT. The actor-filmmaker will be part of its founding board and help the streaming site shape the web content space.
Talking about her association with Planet Marathi OTT, Mrunal said in a statement that she is grateful for the new position and she understands the huge responsibility that comes with the role. “Web is a great place to showcase content potential and power as it is a global platform with few constraints. I applaud the Planet Marathi OTT team for setting high standards, not settling for less and Marathi Paved new avenues for the web space. With my new role, I am glad to be able to share my thoughts and experiences to take the platform’s efforts forward. I am very happy to say that we are in the OTT space. Ready for the next level.”
Apart from proving her acting skills in Marathi and Hindi films, Mrunal Kulkarni has also donned the hat of director and writer in films like Rama Madhav, Prem Mhenje Prem Mhenje Prem Ast, and TI&T.
