More Trouble for Rahul Gandhi As Savarkar’s Grandson Files Defamation Case in Pune Court

Rahul Gandhi has often accused Savarkar of “apologising” to the British for getting out of jail, and has regularly retaliated against the BJP’s apology by claiming that it was Gandhi and not Savarkar who had to apologise. .

Rahul Gandhi has often accused Savarkar of “apologising” to the British for getting out of jail, and regularly rebuts demands for an apology from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), claiming that he was the first to apologize. It was not Savarkar but Gandhi.

Speaking to CNN-News18, Satyaki Savarkar claimed that Rahul Gandhi insulted the Hindutva ideologue.

“Rahul Gandhi went to England last month and remarked in a gathering that Veer Savarkar wrote in his book that he along with his 5-6 friends was beating up a Muslim man and Veer Savarkar enjoyed it. That comment is an insult because the incident is fictional. This statement is baseless and hurts us.”

“Savarkar ji has not written any such incident in his literature. Case has been filed and I have not yet received the complaint number.”

Savarkar was born on May 28, 1883 in the present Nashik district.
