NEW DELHI: Over 1.15 crore remaining and untapped COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states and UTs, to be administered. Union Health Ministry said on Monday.
More than 31.69 crore vaccine doses have been provided Center States and Union Territories so far through Government India’s free channel and through direct state purchase category.
Of this, the total consumption including wastage is 30,54,17,617 doses, the ministry said.
“More than 1.15 crore (1,15,22,543) remaining and unutilized COVID-19 vaccine doses are still available with the states and union territories,” the ministry said.
The new phase of universalization of Kovid-19 vaccination began on 21 June.
