Dhanush, a popular southern cinema actor, bought a new land in Chennai’s Poes Garden in February this year. The actor performed the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony with wife Aishwarya in the presence of father-in-law Superstar Rajinikanth and mother-in-law Latha. Reportedly, the actor is likely to spend Rs 150 crore to build his dream home. The house is in the same posh locality where Rajinikanth has been living for more than three decades. The area is home to some of the most famous and famous personalities of Chennai, including the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
According to a report by Tamil entertainment channel Valai Pechu, the sprawling house will be built in 19000 sq ft. The Dream Nest will reportedly be a four-storey building.
Dhanush and Aishwarya tied the knot in 2004. The couple has two sons – Linga and Yatra. Presently, the couple lives in a beautiful Alwarpet house. The well decorated home has a spacious balcony, exquisite living room and a terrace garden.
The actor is currently working on the success of the release Jagme Thandiram. The film was released on Netflix on 18 June. Featuring Aishwarya Lakshmi and James Cosmo in the lead roles, the film garnered a successful ratings on the OTT platform. The gangster drama flick revolves around a Tamil goon who is recruited to work for a British tycoon.
After this, Dhanush will be collaborating for the first time with filmmaker Sekhar Kammula for an upcoming project which will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The project will start from August with the actor playing the lead character. The film will also mark Dhanush’s Telugu debut as his films till date have only been dubbed in the language. It will also feature Sai Pallavi in the lead role.
The actor will also be seen in Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re. The film stars Sara Ali Khan with Dhanush. Actor Akshay Kumar also has an important role in the film.
