Mindy Kaling meets Bollywood Wives.
Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Panday, Neelam Kothari and Seema Sajdesh met actor-producer Mindy Kaling at the Netflix office in Mumbai on Monday afternoon.
‘The Magnificent Wives’ of Netflix Bhavna Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh and Neelam Kothari recently met the creator of the series Never Have I Ever, Mindy Kaling. Mindy, who is also currently an actor and producer India And is reportedly recceing for his untitled next film with Priyanka Chopra.
Neelam Kothari shared a bundle of pictures from the trip and wrote, “When Bollywood The Wives Meet Mindy!! ❤️ “@mindykaling an afternoon well spent, great conversation and a good laugh it was wonderful meeting you ❤️ #fabuloulivesofbollywoodlives #neverhaveieever”.

Mindy Kaling was earlier in Jaipur. As mentioned earlier, fans are speculating that he might be reuniting with Priyanka Chopra for the upcoming wedding film. Reportedly, the film is similar to Crazy Rich Asians and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Kaling is accompanied by Dan Goor, the writer of that film.
Mindy and Priyanka will play cousins in the film. While one of them will be American-Indian and the other will be born in India. Revealing about the project to Forbes, Mindy had shared, “I have this film with Priyanka Chopra, she is a Punjabi Indian from India and I am an Indian American Bengali girl from the East Coast. It’s very different and That’s what makes our dynamic together so much fun.”
His latest work Never Have I Ever received immense love globally. Reflecting on the show, the actress talked about the importance of South Asian representation in the show, “We are really proud of it, we feature South Asian Americans who are from South India. Then we show a Muslim Indian girl. Culturally we see how they differ from each other. The Asian experience is not a monolith. Why would people know that if they didn’t have shows that explain and explore that difference?”
