India is placed in Group B along with Pakistan, England, Ireland and West Indies

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 is going to be held in South Africa. With less than a week left in the tournament, ten teams will battle it out for the coveted trophy. The Indian team came very close to winning the tournament in the previous edition but lost to Australia in the final match. The Women in Blue will be hoping to get one better this time around and move on.

With the Indian Under-19 women’s team winning the maiden edition of the Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co.’s victory could be icing on the cake. The 10 sides will be divided into two groups with five teams each. India is placed in Group B along with Pakistan, England, Ireland and West Indies. Interestingly, the Women in Blue will begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan. Let’s take a look at his schedule here.

India vs Pakistan

The Indian team will take on Pakistan on February 12 at the Newlands Cricket Ground. The match is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM IST. With the famous rivalry between the neighboring countries, this fixture promises full-fledged entertainment.

India will face West Indies team in their second match. The match will also take place on February 15 at 6:30 PM IST at the Newlands Cricket Ground. Harmanpreet Kaur & Co. had suffered a loss in the recently concluded tri-series between South Africa, India and West Indies.

India will take on England in the third match of their campaign. Both the teams will face off on February 18 at 6:30 PM IST at St George’s Oval. The tournament also featured the English team making a 5-0 clean sweep over the Windies. This match looks set to be an exciting contest.

India will face Minor Ireland in the last game of the group stage. The match will be played on February 20 at 6:30 PM IST at St George’s Oval. Ireland managed a 2-1 win in their last T20I series against Pakistan, meaning they could pack a punch on their day.

The first semi-final will be held on February 23 and the second will be played on February 24. Both the games are scheduled to start at 6:30 PM IST. Its venue is Newlands Cricket Ground on February 26, starting at 6:30 IST.
