Back in 2021, James Gunn had shared a picture with his fans and followers on social media in which the par excellence director was seen standing in front of a magnificent palace. While most people thought he was holidaying at the time, it is now speculated that he was scouting for a location to shoot the film because the palace in the photograph and the palace featured in the film share some defining and similar features.
