Anand Mahindra is one of those industrialists who are very active on social media. Businessmen often take to Twitter to express their views on various things that they find fascinating. These views cover a wide range of sectors including automobiles. However, sometimes these can be a bit ‘out of the box’. This time the business tycoon has posted something similar on social media. Also appreciated the creativity of the creator.

Anand Mahindra shared a picture of the Mahindra Major converted into a table. Notably, the man used the front end of an old SUV to make a stand for his television. Going into the details, the front end of the older SUV remains completely intact. It even gets the original vertical slat grilles along with the stock round headlights. The table also features alloy wheels with half tyres, which appear to be the same as the original car. Apart from this, the car also gets a metallic front bumper with number plate. However, the car does not stand on its tires. A stand supports the structure to keep it upright.

Along with Anand Mahindra, several social media users were impressed by the innovation. Reacting to this, a social media user wrote, “Kuch aisa jo saamne hai.” Another social media user expressed his sentiment of feeling something similar, saying, “I think I want a discarded Scorpio.” Someone else wrote, ‘This is amazing.’ The other person said, “The dashboard looks very beautiful, sir.”

The Mahindra Major was one of the flagship SUVs from the automaker launched in the Indian market in 2000. Nation adopted the model as a family car with off-roading DNA. The SUV was based on the CJ platform, which was used in the company’s previous models.
