Maharashtra: RSS man and sitting Nagpur BJP corporator Ravindra Bhoyar joins Congress | Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: Bharatiya Janata Party sitting in Nagpur (BJP) corporator and fanatic RSS man dr Ravindra Bhoyari formally joined Congress On Monday, and now the frontrunner for the party’s MLC candidate (local body).
Dr. Bhoyer, a homoeopath qualified, said, “People ask me about my RSS link. Well, the Sangh was formed decades before the BJP. RSS taught me never to tolerate injustice and that’s why I joined Congress. ”
Addressing Congress members at a special meeting at the Nagpur party office, Dr Bhoyer further put to rest speculations that he was a “Trojan horse”. “I promise you all, I will not leave Congress till I die,” he said.
District Guardian Minister Nitin Raut said, “I am happy that they have accepted the philosophy of Congress. It has been proved that BJP does not respect its workers and many more are expected to join our side. This BJP A big blow to him.”
Cabinet minister and senior Congress leader Sunil Kedar said, “It is a big setback for the BJP that their incumbent people’s representatives are moving ahead. I am sure Dr. Bhoyar will be a big asset to the party.”
Kedar was instrumental in bringing Dr. Bhoyar to the Congress.
Congress rural president and one of the first runners-up for the MLC ticket, Rajendra Mulak, said, “We all follow Dr. Bhoyar and welcome him to the Congress.” With Mulak being the last person to arrive at the event, some interpreted this as outrage as his chances of getting an MLC ticket are now slim.
Though Raut was firm on who would get the MLC ticket, it was clear that the Congress was preparing for the upcoming civic polls.
Dr. Bhoyer gave a clarion call by saying “Ab ki baar, 100 ke paar”. He said, “We will cross the 100 mark in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation in 2022. There are many more people who are expected to join the Congress from the saffron party.
