India’s 2012 Under-19 World Cup winning captain Unmukt Chand tied the knot with Simran Khosla on Sunday. The cricketer confirmed the good news by sharing a picture from his wedding with his followers on Twitter. Unmukt wrote in the captain’s box of the post, “Today, we decided forever.” Simran is a fitness trainer.

In 2012, Unmukt made media headlines by scoring an unbeaten 111 in the Under-19 World Cup final against Australia, which India won by six wickets with 14 balls to spare. After guiding India to Under-19 World Cup glory, Unmukt became a regular in the country’s A team and also captained the team till 2015.
