Mumbai: Sara Ali Khan and Jhanvi Kapoor set the ‘Koffee’ couch on fire with their candid confessions and honest revelations. Both the actresses made quite an appearance on the show, which left Karan Johar surprised at times.
During the show, both the actresses shared how they became close friends and they went on two trips together. On one of their trips, the two went trekking to Kedarnath where they had a near-death experience.
Sharing the details of her Kedarnath yatra, Sara said, “We decided to go to Bhairavnath and walk was a normal route. But we thought ourselves better. We chose to walk instead. Just rocks and Janhvi’s 85 The climb was like ‘let’s just climb this one’.
“Sara then admitted that she didn’t want to come across as a buzzword and that’s why she said yes to the idea of Janhvi climbing a cliff.
“We started climbing up to the point where the rocks were shaking,” Sarah said. Sarah said again, “I kept saying I think we’re about to fall.”
Sara further said that she found comfort in a passerby who was her fan. However, the fan took pictures with him and was of no help.
“After 30 minutes,” Janhvi continued, “Mahesh ji (Janhvi’s security) reached there to help”.
It was then that they called in special forces to rescue them.
Speaking about the same journey, Janhvi shared some more details. She told how she almost froze inside the hotel that Sara had booked. Janhvi shared that she had asked Sara to take care of the booking and she chose a hotel that had no heater, just to save Rs 6,000!
Janhvi said, “I had traveled to Kedarnath with two thermals, one puffer jacket, three shawls, two track pants and two sweaters. Karan, I wore every single one I owned and was still shivering.”
She said that Sarah had gone out to visit a friend that night and when she returned, “her lips turned blue” and she was still trembling.
